DO NOT TARRY

She cried out
Help me Lord
I don't know what to do
She cried out
Help me Lord
I'm leaving it up to you

My life's a mess
My life's undone
I can't go back
I cannot run
He took her by the hand
Sat her on His knee
His voice was stern, but kind
Softly, saying child listen to me

You know my love
give up the fight
You know your heart
You'll get it right
Walk with me
Do not stray
You took your vows
Don't turn away

A husband true
He will always be
Give it your all
Child listen to me
See there he is with
Arms open wide
See the forgiveness in his eyes
Gently he pulls you to his side

It's not to late
Go quickly now
Do not tarry
I'll show you how
She sings out
Thank you Lord
I'll go now
She sings out
Thank you Lord
You showed me how

Psalms 70:
But I am poor and needy; hasten to me, O God!
You are my Help and my Deliverer;
O Lord, do not tarry!

Annie, Gloriuos poem! I too have been there and after a total surrender to God, still had to slowly embrace the best He wants for me...go for it with an open heart and open hands....and much gratitude. Hugs, Ellie
