There is a fly on the wall
I want to swat it,
And make it fall.
Swung too slow, so I missed;
It gets away,
Now I am pissed.
It flies for awhile then lands on my head
I want to swat it,
And strike it dead.
Again, I am too slow
It takes to the air,
To where I do not know.
Now I can’t think because I’m angry
Until I spot him,
Resting on the t.v.
Knowing what must be done
Without a conscious,
I reach for my gun.
I hold it tight and aim
Meaning to kill,
Not to maim.
Before I fire, I allow a snicker
I say goodbye,
And pull the trigger.
Now all worries have left my head
The t.v. is gone, but I know,
That the fly is dead.

Poor fly..not even a little bit of his body left to mourn over

Hope the t.v. wasn't to expensive > Great poem.

LOL, I remember the first time I read this, at AC.
A small fly-on-the-wall detail:
should be conscience, rather than conscious
