Tea-time struggle

Eat child eat,
I worry.
Eat child,
Hurry.
Vitamins,
Minerals,
Build you,
big and strong.
eat child eat.
Nutrition,
Fruition,
Is my mission.
Eat child,
For they see,
a bad mummy.
So small,
skinny.

try ...
A plane ?
A train?
All a game.

Neat poem! Brings back memories to me. One time my daughter who wouldn't eat, ate a big bowl of broccoli. We were in shock for days.

We remember those times. We made a deal with our youngest- eat one pea for your age. Today, as a grown man, he won’t eat peas, but enjoys pea soup- go figure.

As a child I never ate.. now I can't seem to eat enough. My mom tried everything to get me to finish a quarter of what was on my plate.. This brings back good memories of childhood and I must send it on to her to view as well. Very nicely done.

thanks It is great that so many of you understand. I wrote this one after the subject was brought to my attention for the second time around when I was trying to get my baby grandson Joshua to eat his lunch.
