Love Songs

When Claude goes caroling under the moon
He’s curt and cunning and causes a swoon.
Intrigued by this gent who sets hearts ablaze
Women are stricken, charmed by his ways.
A Casanova with Romeo’s eye-
Dynamic and dashing. Oh! Whatta guy!
He strums a guitar, croons desire in sonata.
For heaven’s sakes, this dude’s really gotta
Get real with the program and live in the age
Or go back to Shakespeare and sing on the stage.
“Don’t come back again, throw in the towel;
The dog next door never ceases to howl."
The neighbors are grumbling. Romance flops
As harmony rides in the car with the cops.

For some reason my answers keep disappearing on this site. I found this one way down at the bottom of the page yesterday and read and commented on it because I liked it so much. Now the answer is  not here .

Just want you to know it is great and made me smile.

Dear Barb,

Great poem! I'm still smiling!
