Liddy the kitty wore a pinafore
And sold kitty litter door to door.
The folks in town were most impressed
With the way the kitty was so well dressed.
Her knock was gentle, a ladylike touch
And her sales approach was successful as such
That she sold kitty litter and became rich.
It was her in her style and in her great pitch.
With all of the bags of litter that sold
Not one person was ever so bold
To tell the kitty eventually that
They had never owned one single cat.
A salesperson has got to be sharp.
It doesn’t pay to preach and to harp.
But if you smile and dress kinda nice;
You could probably sell an Eskimo ice.
