untitled poem now titled : Determined!

Hi All,

Its been over 3 months + since ive written a poem. I thought maybe i had lost my muse, but the other day i was able to write a poem.

It is untitled but thought i would post it.

tears running down her face
words tearing apart her heart
no arms there to embrace
as he walked out of sight
.
to her knees she fell
tears so blinding
a soft touch on her face
a small voice saying its ok mommy
.
heart breaks as she sees
the concerned look on her son's face
as his little arms embrace her
and his hand reaches up to wipe away the tears
.
he shouldnt have to be witness
to the arguements he has seen
she's suppose to protect him
from things like that
.
she tells him mommy is ok
and tearfully smiles at him
she hugs him tight
and sends him off to play
.
she dries the tears
and pulls herself together
determined to be strong
especially for her kids
.
she will do what needs to be done
to make sure that her kids are safe
she will be positive and strong
inspite of the fear she feels
.
no more tears to be shed
over words that have been said
no matter how much the words hurt
she will be stronger and overcome
