my hands grace the open curve
surrender to my touch
as I lay lost in your afterglow
from top to bottom
an opiate love
obtaining ourselves in desire
we dreamt away the day together
like little kids again
forever smiling

smiling at this one.

the queen of hearts is originally the queen of cups from tarot--a well-spring of nurtured contentment--and how well you have captured that here.

Enjoyed.

in this poem, you seem to have caught that little moment in time when "everything in the world is good"...very nice

this poem was created for a 10/40 word challenge , where ten words are picked and you have to use at least six of the ten in a forty word poem ... this is what i came up with ...being a romantic fool and a loverboy hahaa
thank you both
