Imagination

In a little court
Of royal sort
There lived a handsome king.
For a lady fair
With raven hair,
Romance was just the thing.
With extended arms
And gracious charms
They had a little fling.
They could not part
For at his heart
She tugged at such a string.
A dandy dressed
In very best
Went, bought a royal ring.
Hand in hand
They ruled the land.
Along came early spring.
A baby new,
A boy in blue,
Tucked under heaven's wing.
To the wise
Though small their size
Much happiness they bring.
And still you feel
This can't be real.
Try again to cling.
Dream each day
And come away-
Allow your heart to sing.
With vision clear
And thoughts so dear,
Invent a little king!
