Amidst the darkest hour,
thee came resiliently;
like a bee tends to the flo'er,
to thy breast thee came to be.

We traversed under full moon,
as the nightingale sang above,
with his divinely whimsical tune;
our hearts fell deeply in love.

Then thy heart was redirected,
to the waning hour of the night,
as the morning light shown unexpected,
thy love faded from thy sight.

Thee left pleading to thy fleeting heart,
"adieu... adieu... remember thee!"
I swore to love in solemn oath to never part,
as long as waning sun doth kiss the sea!

And I swore thou lovest thee more and more,
as the hands of time doth move;
thy love is all I had before,
and tis all thy needs to prove!
