hi all, I promise i will be back over the weekend to catch up and comment on poems ...... just popped in to leave this one and let you know my news. My husband has just been made redundant from his job after 14 years and bless himhe is so worried as he is 49 and work is hard to get. please pray for him :0) I need to focus on beauty as ever to get through this and support him ........ hence the inspiration for this poem hugs and best wishes to each and every one here in the corner. june xxxxxxx SPRING JEWELS A patch of lush spiked emerald green settings, The elegant jewel holders of nature. Studded in liquid crystals, Gently curling , heavy from dawn tears. They grace the horizon above the river Displaying their bright gems. Adorned by the irresistible charm of sunshine. Charismatic butter buds in lacy skirts, Delicate hearts and fringed petals, Some blushed with peach, some with lemon. Swaying on an imperceptible breeze, Crowns of glory against a wash of blue sky. Beneath this visual offering from nature Lies a soft mirror, reflecting this morning beauty, A gently flowing stream of dreams. A Sensational living road of golden light Pure peace awaits here ………. Pause to bathe your soul in its gold. |
