June to December

I long for my June
though I'm in my December.
So much of my life
has been spent in remember.
We gave little thought
as we played our love tune
that our love would not always
have magic of June.
We had no chance to test
if our love could survive
when the rigors of winter
and storms would arrive.

God decided it time
to take you from me.
The June days of our love
were all that you'd see.
In my time of alone
and my days of December,
I keep June and you
in my loving remember.

Joyce,
You say beatiful things-things that are born out of love and your words come right from the heart.

I thought you would like it Marge.  I was vain enough to think I sounded a bit like your lovely verse.  Love, Joyce

Joyce

Your memories are put to verse and that will help in the grieving process.  Thank you for sharing this poem with us.

(big angel hugs) I know the contrast ever too well, dearest friend, I wish for June to forever shine in your heart and for tulips to sing always, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Joyce, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
