SOME DAY

some day i'll be free,
to be who i am, whom i'm meant to be,
i look all around,
hearing the wispers, in the background,
i hear babies, crying in the night,
the screams, somethings not right.
women, children, missing,
their cries for help, no one listening.
chao, the games are flowing,
no time to stop, to see, they keep you from knowing.
whats happening in lands afar,
is happening here, doors closed, never ajar.
they play your fears,
laugh at your tears.
take the good from your heart,
steal your soul, conque and divide, family's torn apart.
their evil within,
their control begins.
alcohal,drugs, they place in you,
let our own greed, denial destroy, they knew.
sit back and play,
watch you destroy, your family,love and gods way.
their gain, is our loss,
sex, drugs, alcohal, family values we toss.
new diseases,
see their smiles, cost goes up, so our life ceases.
in the streets, without a home,
no more farms, or cattle that roam.
it's in the air, the land and sea,
taking back what was taken,then tossed aside so carlessly.
we came, we took,
never a thought, or a second look.
now control is their game,
because of mans greed, they drive us insane.
land of the free?
open your eyes america, you really need to see.
mans greed, breeds their evil,
THE DEVILS REALITY.

I agree that there is a great deal wrong with America but also feel that there is a lot right with it too. The answer is there. It always was there.Love, which begins with the individual, regardless of what others may try to do to it.

We make mistakes. We stumble but we are headed in the right direction. It just seems to take us a long time to get there. There are good, kind, loving things going on behind closed doors too. Love, Joyce

(big angel hugs) I couldn't agree with you more, sweet friend, unfortunately I believe this nation is heading towards oligarchy with the greed of all those capitalists and lobbyists in the offices, and we also have quite possibly the worst president in the history of our nation, one who cannot sympathize with the common man!
