These
are days of silence
of lust and longing
of pitiful glances
around empty rooms

These
are nights of yearning
of tracing out old scars
of misguided fantasies
interwoven with pain

Now nothing is lost and nothing is found
Nothing is given and nothing is gained
Nothing is said and nothing is heard
The stars dont move anymore.

Those
Were days of hope
of waves and sand
of calm embraces
glances across rooms

Those
Were nights of passion
of sharing and beauty
of understanding
listening to the stars come out

Now nothing is lost and nothing is found
Nothing is given and nothing is gained
Nothing is said and nothing is heard
The stars dont move anymore.

lenore:  I would say this is a lot of poem! It really tells a story in a subtle fashion.
Welcome to Passions.  I see you are new here and hope you enjoy the experience.
