First attempt at this style so forgive me if it is not up to scratch !!. I so enjoy trying new styles.

Come wander with me to the beach tonight

Barefoot over silvery sands

Across tide whipped whirls of creamy white

Come wander with me to the beach tonight,

Hold hands with me , we are lovebirds in flight

Rushing to embrace the ocean

Come on sweetheart, to the beach tonight

Let’s free our hearts with motion

I too am new at this as well.  Only recently I have found out how to Post Reply instead of emailing.  I liked your poem.

I think you did just fine - I am partial to the sight and sound of waves hitting the shore anyway (and in the moonlight...)how beautiful.  Good job.

Bless your cotten sockies, you poetic maniacs. ^_^
