Trembling

Looking down
from high up
at myself
in the dust, trembling
out of tremendous fear,
not because of
the height phobia, but
the worry about
every action
I am taking.

Good expression...and wise lesson -- the higher you climb, the greater the fall!  Enjoyed.

Looking down on one's life can be scary.  Having phobias (like I do) as well, can be even scarier.  Great poem.

Very true...a very deep and intense look at yourself!  Bravo.

(big angel hugs) I understand just how you feel, sweet friend, I find it's not important trying to get higher, but simply just reaching from where you are, yay, God Bless You, the stars will be just as close on surface level, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Laoha, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

sometimes I wonder about the effects my actions may cause ... good, bad, expected or un' ... anticipation brings on the trembles sometimes

nicely done

Yes I too can relate to this.  Not just every action I take, but re-action.

Laoha~
Looking back over one's life can be an exhilarating experience as well~

I think we all wonder just where the next step will take us ... but from experience I can say that it's often such a good thing to look not only 'where we're going' ... but pause long enought to see 'where we've been'~

Thanks for the ponderous penning~
