Power of the Dream

I've closed the door on foolish dreams.
No longer linger on wild schemes,
To bend my life to fit the frame.
It is a futile, useless game,
So now reality is me!
I don't pretend I'll ever be
Different than I am today.
That other person's gone away.
The one who had her head in clouds.
I'll soon forget her.Distance shrouds
The memories and from now on,
That part of me is mostly gone.

So fact and fancy are apart
And quite divorced, but in my heart
I must admit, the days seem bare
Without the dreams that once were there.
Then part of me rebels, to say
What does it matter, anyway.
If I should spend an idle hour
In imaginations's power?
So dream I will, but I won't show
The flowered fantasies I grow,
Nor yet forget, that truth is king.
The catalyst for everything!

(smiles) Why not show your dreams to the world, for dreams are part of Truth and I believe life should be all about learning and following these dreams and along the way finding relations between all the many blessings! (big hugggsssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, dream on, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Betty, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Noah:  I guess I don't like to share my dreams anymore, as some people have pointed out how very foolish they are! It's harder to accept criticism of dreams, than it is of poetry!  Thanks Noah.

Hello Betty Lou

There is nothing more I'd rather do than to escape into my dream world.  It is a place that gives me comfort and inspiration.

Take care......Sue

Joyce:  So nice to hear from you. I have been wondering if you were back home after that flood scare.  Hope you suffered no damage.
