Tears unshed
Are a bitter lake
To drown my soul
In liquid ache

Waves of hurt
In relentless tide
Break the heart
I cleverly hide

Misery and pain
Wear a face of stone
That crumbles to dust
When im all alone

In the privacy of night
All pretence is shed
And into my pillow
All my agony is bled

Very meaningful my friend. I can sympathize since I am going through a similar situation (explained in my work My Own Lili Marlene.) Thanks for sharing, poetry is truly cathartic to pain...

(big hugggsssssss) Oh June, my heart goes out to you, sweet friend, tis is ever so common and I too have cried on my pillow so much in my childhood, but knowing that since turning to Him and feeling more happier than ever, this too will pass and your heart will heal! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, I send angel hugs your way, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet June, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

junemac:  I do hope this is a product of your imagination and not your reality! Very touching.

I like Trillium, hope this is only poetic fantasy and not a hurtful situation.  Very touching poetry.  Love, Joyce

My heart bleeds from the wounds of a thousand piercing needles and my soul cries out in agony through my pen.

the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost

aww bless you all for reading and enjoying ( i hope lol )
This poem was really just my imaginings of how it is too be heart broken like this. I have a happy and long term (25 years ) marriage and most of my poetry is not based on fact (only occasionally ) its lovely to know that my friends here care about me this way. i feel so blessed to know you all ( even virtually )
so i dont want you to worry.

hugs from june xxxxxxxxxx
