Azalea Glade
By: Noah Eaton
9/26/03

Your blush has won me
Discovering my fragile passion
I make this constitutional
Deep within the calico of your womanhood
Skulking in forests of strawberry ice
Within the purple satin of this azalea glade…

White lightning cradled over the river
Where the fawn drinks of jasmine wine
Stamens of tangelo tie-dye the mother-of-pearl sky
Scarlet pistil, make the dawn come alive
Honeymoon honey never tasted so sweet
Plumleaf desserts shared in this azalea glade…

Little Macanthra, your cheeks of bing cherry cherubs
Sakuragata smiles, pink pancake fantasies
Little pitchers filled with honeydew juice
Bee-dazzlers napping under rose-shell parasols
Peachy keen children, with lemon drop freckles
Mandarin light belly buttons, and orchid lollipop grins
Tossing starfish beachballs in this azalea glade…

Beyond a pleasant creek of buttermilk rouge
This Satsuki festival lasts more than a month
Coral bells chiming crystal wine-glass serenades
The Carmine Queen and the cherry-blossom maharajah
All-a-glow with the royalty in this tussah silk kingdom
Come, dear magical maiden, and I shall take you there
Beyond the poppyseed trail of this azalea glade…

I don't need no proof when it comes to God and truth
I can see the sun set and I perceive

I feel I just read the breath of God. What He would say...Lovely, and DEVINE words!! Georgeous words, and VERY pretty pictures of nature to add more beauty to what already was.
Thanks for sharing this.

Noah, I am truly convinced now, that you will never cease to amaze me!
As far as beautiful poetry goes, this is in a category all it’s own!
Noah, are you being published? If not, you most certainly should be.
True art like this, should, and must, be shared with the world.
The inspiration that you could provide for so many would be astonishing!
And you so deserve the recognition.

You’ve truly been blessed with a wonderful gift.
You are very special Noah!

This, and you, are one of my all time favorites!

Absolutely Amazing!!

Richy

Noah:  I have been thinking about this all day.  I had to come and read it again and enjoy the beautiful graphics. Even more impressive the second time around! Lovely!

This was more of a painting than just a poem, IMO. A lot of references to colors through out is what gave me that impression. (calico, now there's a word you don't here often, unless you are talking about cats ) I like visually stimulating works and this was very visually stimulating. The photos attached were a beautiful touch.

Excellent work. Absolutely marvelous imagery. Thanks for the review and I really appreciate the sympathy. Hopefully I can still retain the friendship with my Lili Marlene...
