~Cold...~

Sitting here by the fire, wasting moments by the hour
Setp into the entire, what is it you see?
What Fears from your soul, taking from them giving to you now
Waking your heart, so warm, to them, oh so, so cold...
Dread the dream, for they may be false
Dreaming of things, your heart and soul,
Eternity within a moment to finally see
Ripping from the fantasy, delving once more into the 'true' reality
Rip-tide, flowing beneath your skin, a flare to fuel the flame,
To them it's alway been, so cold...
Feeling more reason, for them to be leaving
Forgiving that they forgot, reason leaving, feeling, gone again
Making skies of red, forcing unholy dread upon the new
Moving forward two, back four,
These stepping stones to your flame so warm,
To the gods unforgiving, so cold...
Left alone, picking up all that I lost
Leaving shadow behind,
The place were all dead dreams seem to be tost
Left to the middle, right from the heart
All things that are left spoken in my heart...
So cold...

Uncertainty here.  Warm then cold.  Of such young dreams are made.  Love, Joyce

I really like this poem, a lot.  Although you do have some typos.  Just grand otherwise.

~Keep Smiling~

Let go of your concept of reality and try mine for a while...then we'll see how long you last.

Thanks both of you.  I must apologize fot the typo's, but, when I posted the poem I was a bit rushed, and a bit late for work.  Next time, I'll make sure that there are none.  Thanks again.
