This is for those who liked my "Friday Night" poem, lest my other post make you think I had no other fun ones

SAUCE FOR THE GOOSE

Well I went down to George St, for drinks and company
when a wanderin' man did siddle up and come on to me
He was flush, bought me food, and me drinks they was free
And though I looked a fright
He asked if that night
He could come home with me
The liquor must have answered
I swear I never said a thing
But with the drinks I was in the mood
And I never saw his ring
What are you doin' here with me?
what do you want with me?
You should be home with your wife
Not playing round with me

The next thing I remember we was getting into bed
I said me name is Mary, but he called me Jane instead
And as I lay beneath him he wouldn't meet my eye
But still it never crossed me mind that maybe he had lied
What are you doin' here with me?
what do you want with me?
You should be home with your wife
Not laying here with me

'Twas well before morning, although I bid him stay
He got up, grabbed his clothes and said he must away
As I lay there wet and naked, his manner it did change
Now he called me Mary, and that seemed passing strange
What are you doin' here with me?
what do you want with me?
You should be home with your wife
Not running out on me

'Twas but a fortnight later when next we chanced to meet
He was with some other woman, walking down the street
She held a babe in her arms, that 'twas his was plain to see
Threw my arms round him tight
kissed and thanked him for that night
before I set him free
The goodwife she was angered
And loudly did him berate
Gave the child to him, and took my hand
And told him she'd be home late
What were you doin' there with me?
what did you want with me?
You should have stayed home with your wife
'Cause now she is with me

Aye, and I say let the bugger stew a bit longer b'y.
Thanks all for the comments. This one was written at a kitchen party where they were trying to sing a song called "The Jolly Butcher", but the party had gone on a bit long and nobody could remember the words, so i wrote this poem to be sung to that tune, and we all had a right blast singing it.   Mind it did need a bit of cleaning up the next afternoon
