Wind Will Catch Up With You Wind was breezing gently Drying my tears of yesterday As I let go of your scarf. You were a strong young woman, Fighting with pain in your chest, Your face always kept a smile. Facing deformation after surgery, As your hair floated in the air, Your face always kept a smile. You always said death has no fear. Fear comes when friends aren't' around. You always encouraged us, even through your hardest time. Yesterday you told me not keep your scarf. I was still wondering what you meant, When you silently left us behind. Now I know. You wanted us to smile at each morn. I believe in the wind Will take the scarf to where you are.
