Bubbles that go, collide, and die
Rock that I sit and feel so high
Fish that splash and try to fight
Water that flows and looks so white
Bird that flys and catches his prey
Trees that grow and seem to sway
Sounds that blend and sound so loud
Blue is the sky, there are no clouds
Friends that join and watch the show
Bugs that float and try to glow
Sun that chases the darkness away
This sight is free, no need to pay

There's so many things I can not tell
Beauty is something you can't describe well
No picture no video won't do too much
You have to be there, you need to touch
You can't take it home, but it's always there
It's so spectacular, but no one cares
You will not believe what you have seen
It's all so fresh, it leaves you clean
I urge you all to go see it now
I can't describe, I don't know how
This poem I've written is the best I could do
For a waterfall is best seen in first person view

This is a really pretty poem. I have never seen a real waterfall, they do sound beautiful.

So nice, and I agree I wouldn't get the true joy by hearing about it... I would love to see for myself. It must be beautiful!!!!!

This is truly an apt description and you left me guessing until the end.  Well done.  Joyce

One of my most favourite sounds is the tinkling of water. So cooling. Maggie

The second stanze is my favorite. Yes, no one can utter the beauty of nature. You write this well. Thank you for sharing
