My life is not measured in coffee spoons
Like J. Alfred Prufrock,
But rather by those defining moments of
Infinite sadness that into each life must fall.
Piecemeal times of joy and unabashed
Happiness are intertwined within the
Melancholy darkness, and those feelings
Cannot be defined by a utensil that stirs a drink.

This is a very interesting and introspective piece - It leaves me wondering just what we can count upon for judgment... perhaps a balancing scale of some sort - one side for our successes while the other holds our failures ..?
