this was written in early march when i got that wonderful first glimpse of spring here in England.

First day of spring
a stirring occurs from deep in my soul,
a wonderous feeling,
more precious than gold,
its a feeling of lightness, a promise of love,
a pleasure as pure as the white clouds above
my heartbeat is crazy its skipping a beat,
and suddenly life is the sweetest of sweet.

its the very first day of sunshine and light,
after the cold and the gloom of a dark winters night,
spring is a birth of promise and pleasure,
let this wonderful feeling linger forever
