A Moment of Grieving

He might be an ordinary guy to you,
But in her heart, he was stars of her eyes.
Her eyes shined brightly only for him.
And his purpose of living was only for her.

Yet reality could be so harsh
To separate lovers that rarely do find
Each other. That rare combinations
Many desired, seldom survived.

All people around her wanted her to have the best,
Yet who would know what this separation meant to the lovers.
A scar forever displayed, a smile forever lost.
Who has the authority to know the future?
