Blue Kisses At first i mistook it for tenderness When your kisses began to turn blue Reluctance never crossed my mind When passion first drained from you It was when you began to flinch at my touch When i couldnt see past your eyes Words spoken once with warmth from your heart Now are brittle and tinged with ice For a while i refused to confront this change Living yesterdays kisses today Til the freeze from your depths cooled the passion in me Now evaporated love runs away |
