The Finale The clouds today were so unique! I watched them rise, peak after peak Of glowing white, against the blue. Some purple masses came in view, Drifting slow, but soon to fling Dark shoadows over everything! Small wisps of gray then came to be Like puffs of smoke, borne easterly, While filaments began to tear Away from all the towers there, To twist and mingle with the white And rise to even greater height. The wind began to rush and roar And soon brought hail stones to my door. Then when the storm was finally spent, I took a jacket and I went Back outside, for the finale.
