My life is full of broken promises and empty dreams,
Being pulled in ten different ways it seems.
Anger is working its way into my blood stream,
The fear of it all, it screams, it sings.
All self-esteem is floating downstream.
Life is full of hatred, belief, and love from this angle,
Never slipping, getting people tangled.
These frustrations have got to be strangled,
The dread of it all screams from this triangle.
Yelling doesn't help get my heart untangled.

The sky is one big cloud of anger.
The sun is crying - this is danger.
It sings it echoes.
To me, this rainbow is a stranger.
Let me off right now, I'm endangered.

Irritations clouding near my eyes, slurring my sight,
The relevance of everything just seems too bright.
Why do I always have to run away in fright?
Turned off the light to ignore this pitiful bullfight.
Everybody is sitting around, saying I'm impolite.
I'm flying into this enormous rage,
My soul, my echo is trapped in a cage.
My life just can't seem to turn to the next page.
I won't put all these emotions on stage,
So I sit way in the back, out of gauge.

The sky is one big cloud of anger.
The sun is crying - this is danger.
It sings it echoes.
To me, this rainbow is a stranger.
Let me off right now, I'm endangered.

It sings it echoes, it cries from within,
It whispers, it moves, it screams from within.
Yet all through the process it doesn't make a sound,
A way to get out of this mess, I haven't found.
The echoes live inside, they'll never escape
But will eventually grow into a new shape.

Emotions - they sing, they echo.
They live don't die,
They sing they echo.
They come from inside.
