Mysterious Eyes and Tender Moon

Mysterious green eyes of yours,
Look around in the dark,
Can't find anything to lay your fine green eyes.
A beam of light suddenly shine upon your head.
You cautiously step back and lie down on your back.

"Be quiet, it's the moon,
Who has come to visit your fine eyes.
Don't be afraid.
She is here to caress your hair
And gives you good sleep."

Laying beside the road,
You gaze at the benign moonshine
To find she is smiling
And reaching out from the sky above
To you down on earth.

And you soon find out,
That she has been waiting this way
Night after night sitting on her side bed,
Watching you with her eyes open awake,
Just to see you safe
Sleeping in on the road.

Side note: This is a poem about a cat sleeping under moonlight. The moon is like the cat's mother, always watching, reaching out for her.
