Come Walk With Me Come walk with me, the evening's fine. The air as sweet as dinner wine And near at hand, a small frog speaks, Where wetlands lie, between two creeks. The western sky shows colors still. Dark shadows creep down from the hill And gradually, they hide away Familiar things, we see by day. High overhead, the nighthawks fly, In insect raids, across the sky And send their strange and raspy call. A silence falls, no sound at all, From birds who roost in nearby trees. There is a faint, but fragrant breeze, That carries scent of springtime flowers. Night will soon exert its powers. The road, now faint, leads us back to The home I love and share with you!
