Major Arcanus Hey all.I think this will appeal to the neo-pagans and those of you who,like myself,dabble in or are familiar with the tarot.Enjoy all and Blessed be to all the neo-pagan posters out there.(I hope that those of you who are not familiar with the tarot will ,nonetheless, enjoy this poem.) Tarot(Major Arcana) Mine is the innocence of youth's melody Mine is the flame,sky,earth and sea Mine is the choice at the crossroads of strife Mine is the goddess of rebirth and life Mine is the liege of the gods up on high Mine is the priest and the truth of the lie Mine is the kiss in the lost lover's garden Mine is the victory; flashing and sudden Mine is the lady of sword and of scale Mine is the silence when laughter has failed Mine is the wheel and the luck of the draw Mine is the strength of wisdom's lost lore Mine is the power from blood's sacrifice Mine is the Reaper of virtue and vice Mine is the patience of flame at the forge Mine is the lust, uncontrolled and engorged Mine is the sign of change through destruction Mine is the hope within night's abduction Mine is the lie within your heart's lair Mine is the Sun;the lord of the air Mine is the truth for the child in the cold And mine is the world Your heart and your soul |

I plead the fifth, but I loved this poem! Very nicely done.  I awake to a world I don't want. There is no transition for me. I am in heaven. I am in hell. |
