this more of a rant, but it's still in form.

Now is the time to think

do we really know what's going on?
did you know that there are soldiers in Qatar?
How much do we really know?

they say this is a democracy,
and that we pick the government, and who leads us.
what democracy doesn't tell it's people what's going on?

all my life i was told abot our rights,
that we should vote, and make america a better country.

but how can we?
with a government that doesn't tell us what's going on?

Is the only reason we know about the war with Iraq, because of 9/11?
what would we know if it never happened?

Most of us are all for the war.
but do we even know all the events that led up to it?

of course we say we do, when we don't.
we're just here to be manipulated,
to go about our business, and do what we are told, and think what they want thought.

we say we have rights.
do we get to have the right to get to know everything that's going on?
Shouldn't we?

with all the current events, and hardships to come,
now is the time...

now is the time to think.

We know more about what is going on than we ever have in all of history. The media is right there with the soldiers. If we don't know its our own fault. Joyce
