OUTWEIGH

Time has not diminished
The gentler memories
Of a cherished
But long irretrievable
Relationship.

Such recollections
Are likened
To the rosebush,
Where the beauty
Of the blooms
Far outweigh
The thorny barbs.

SPIRIT:  This is a lovely way to describe a rather "thorny" relationship, where the good that comes of it over shadwos the bad! I really enjoyed this.

Thorns?  What thorns?  I don't see any thorns.  Joyce

I like your attitute. This is beautiful, a little sad perhaps, but nice sentiments.

Bless your cotten sockies, you poetic maniacs. ^_^
