Ivory Paper

Some people say day raining shower
Is a blessing...
To me
It hides my running tears...
Broken out salt of my heart.

Some people say night moonlight
Is gorgeous...
To me
It reflects my only shadow...
Poisoning...my heart each day deeper...

Then I...
Come across my table-
Sit alone with a ivory paper, which
Has tip-toe to my desk to console
My thoughts and devastating.

My ink spill on the paper,
While I seek for someone to be near,
Echoing the same sentiments...
I need not a pity, nor advice,
All I ever need is an attentive ear,
Sitting through the night
When my heart feels sore...

I decide to write to my dear Dairy:
Dear Jesus...
Today I feel sad...
I know you hear me... and you always has patience.
So now I will burn all my words to ashes...
Leaving them behind...
In knowing...You must have Your plan for me...

Maybe I am not praying...but I know...
You are always listening...to my soul...

Eliza - this is quite a sad write, but well done. The Lord has blessed us with a fresh start each morning. Just think how many chances that is to make our lives better! Be well friend and keep writing. Chris

I don't know what makes you so sad Elia, but you have found the right source of solace.  Sweetly done.  Joyce

I would definitely call a cry from the heart praying. I'm sure Jesus would too. This is lovely, Eliza.

Eliza:  Such a sorrowful write, but still lovely and well done.  Hope you will soon feel bright and happy again.

Eliza~

I was struck by this line -

'All I ever need is an attentive ear'

Rest assured dear poetess ... as long as you share these thoughts ... you'll have the 'attentive ear' you seek~

Lovely melancholic thoughts~
You pen the truths so delicately~
