ON THE BOOK OF LOVE

So many books
Written on love,
By inexperienced man.
Using words,
Instilling readability
In pornographic filth.

Love is so beautiful,
Souls and bodies joined.
No two lovers
Ever the same,
Each love a new
And exciting adventure.

No book,
Nor writer - can tell
The birth and aging of love.
No amount of cheap thrills
Written down,
Will ever describe
Love - felt, seen and tasted
As it truly is.

I am an enigma, even unto myself.
A puzzle unsolved, a mystery maybe until beyond death.  ©das

Amen to this!!! Chris

"Hope" is the thing with feathers-
that perches in the soul....

Spirit,

Again this is very beautiful. I hope to find love like this someday.
