DOUBLE D

Sweetness,
That is soured.
Honeyed,
It trickles
From the lips,
In sarcastic,
Yet melodic tones.
It gives vent
To hidden sores,
That in bitterness
Have never healed.
Because of the
Senseless
Folly of one,
And the
Unforgiving nature
Of the other, pain
Has become a fence
Between the
“Sorry”
Of the ‘menopausal’ male,
And
“The damn you all to Hell”
Of the unbending,
Highly offended female.
Another marriage killed
By the two Ds’.

DISHONESTY and DISCONTENT

I am an enigma, even unto myself.
A puzzle unsolved, a mystery maybe until beyond death.  ©das

Spirit,

This is sad indeed! Very well written!
