I wish I can, for one moment lie still, lose myself among a pile of leaves. Hidden from everyone's eyes, I can listen, with no haste, to the gentle rain dripping quietly on grass, the tide waters breaking softly ashore. So long as this pile of leaves are undisturbed, I can relive past joys or remember tears without the images of pain, recapture dreams long ago discarded. We each should have a private place to go. Luckily most of us have the room to do that. I would not make a good pack animal where no one has privacy. Joyce |

Yes Michelle, being a beetle among a pile of leaves is a thought to ponder..*l*, oh but what if someone steps on that pile? how me and my silence will be squashed. Thanks all- it's like we're sharing a moment of silence. |

This is a neat idea. I enjoyed it..I do wonder though, about your use of 'can'. It jars a little when I read the first line, and almost feels as though it should be "I wish I could..." Just a thought, it might have been a deliberate effeect.. Luv, Lynne It's nice to share - kiss someone when you have a cold. |
