Words Betray

Reading your poetry,I know
Without another clue,
Which of you has seen the years
And which of you is new.
The missiles projected by the young
Are inquiring and bold.
The resignment in another poem,
Declares the author's old.
The young emote about their dreams,
Of that yet to be seen.
But we who's lofty dreams are gone,
Must pen what might have been.

Wow! So you already know I am old - I thought it was the icon that gave it away. Great read.

I am an enigma, even unto myself.
A puzzle unsolved, a mystery maybe until beyond death.  Â©das

hehe...this is lovely and true...though I'm really bad in guessing age...everyone has a youth part in their heart, no matter how young or how old...just need to flourish that...
