I’m aching to hear you –
(‘Where do you want to go?
You decide, I drive...’)
but I’m squashed here in the library;
head in my hand
and I’m so lonely,
scribbling your name on the wall.

I need to fall into your eyes –
with the way you look at me
you can persuade me I’m special.
I want your gentle hands
holding mine, holding me –
the love in your touch lets me bloom,
takes my breath
makes me miss you...
‘Where do you want to go?’
Anywhere with you.

It's nice to share - kiss someone when you have a cold.

Sweet little love poem, here. I like "you can persuade me I’m special" -- it gives a bit of emptiness and need to the proceedings, which adds depth (and a bit of sadness).

Or maybe I read these things too deeply.

bsquirrel, no, you didn't read too much into it.. that's actually the whole point o that line.. I guess it's as Michelle said, about believing sweet words although feeling otherwise.. I really do believe him, and he makes me feel something I would never have dreamed was possible because I always thought I wasn't good enough for anything.
