Well .... in case anybody ever reads these little thingies .... Because I sent this lovely piece to a long-time friend in the publishing world ... it reminded her of a client that was looking for an Original Book Cover that their graphic in-house artist couldn't do ! Reminded her of my friend, June Somerford Williamson's art depicting Faeries that June so graciously let me give voice to in my poetry~ We were put in touch with the author ... AND ... we secured the contract to do the front cover Original Artwork ... AND the check and signed contracts arrived today !!! Is that a little piece of luck that fell from the stars or what ? I'll keep you all updated as to the publishing date ... due out January 2003 ! Our thanks to one heck of a lady ... Cat for thinking of us and talking her publishing company into giving us a shot at this opportunity ! And thanks to the author for giving us a chance to bring her vision to life~ Needless to say ... (but I will) ... we've found OUR PUBLISHER when June and I do our own book .... sooner-than-'soon'~ Marti ... my great appreciation to you for sending me the graphic for my 3rd Anniversary with Pip that I used in this little poem~ I LOVE this circling~ *HUGLETS* ~*Marge & June*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

Well .... it's out ! Start to finish the publishing house did a GREAT job ! The book that my friend June created the cover for is entitled 'The Gardens Within Our Hearts', by Jo Ann Gallodoro. The cover is BEAUTIFUL and the author was difficult (to say the least) to work with. Hopefully you can get a peek at the beautifully created cover at one of the book sites. Infinity Publishing is the print-on-demand firm that handled the project. They are just SUPER to work with and deliver what they promise .... when they promise it !! *June .... you is da' bestest !!!
