*This one was simply inspired
bearing no resemblance to my happy little corner of the world
It's a GREAT day to be a poet*

Marge, I'm relieved to know that this poem bears no resemblance to your "happy little corner of the world"!

Beautifully expressed both poetically and pictorally!

Ha Autumn, the most colorful season of the year, yet for some the most depressing one.

I love it Marge, poem and pic

Hugs, Titia

As colorful, as awe inspiring as this time of the year is.... it is also one of the most depressing times... Everything seems to be dying a slow, cold death. But, what we have to look forward too is even colder... Yeah! the white stuff.... Then comes, as you so well painted it... SPRINGTIME.... One beautiful work of art Marge...... Love and peace Maggie ((~.~))

Awwww, and look who replied. How very special and loving.

Marge, this is so beautiful. Autumn is such a grand season with it's colors and cool days but for many the changes bring such seasonal disorders.

Hugs dear one ... Marti

Dear Marge:  This is so poignant and beautiful.  I love it, but I am glad it does not pertain to your life as it is today!

I love how you used the changing and falling of the leaves to (apparently?) indicate the changing and falling away of feelings of one for another. So much in such a short poem. Wonderful

Thank you very much ... the graphics as a 'backdrop' are a relaxing way for me to work with some thoughts that seem better when visualized on a palette~
I get inspiration for the piece from the graphic and it quickly writes itself~

I so appreciate you ALL~

Beautiful of course, Marge and poets cannot be limited to writing only of their own experiences.  I know except for your painful fall and its aftermath that you are living a lovely life right now.  Love, Joyce

Joyce~
Thank you very much ... sometimes the thoughts from another's heart seem to drift into mine ... and though I may not know who it's for ... I write it and give it to the worldly realm from whence it came ... knowing that it will circle back to the heart that it was meant to reach~

I so appreciate you~

Dear Marge,

Fall is my favorite time of the year.  I think it is because of the color.  I love green, but the golds, reds, and green are so vibrant and make me feel very alive, but that may be because I feel very much a child of Mother Earth.

Love Always,

Butterfly
