She landed one October, cold and sober,
   whooshing past a red-neck bar.
Stilleto heels to make Cher quiver
   emerged from something from afar.
I was outta gas and waiting
patiently for someone to pass by.
I was soon to know the danger
of a ride with some she-stranger from the sky.

There's no runnin',son...her fun begins!

She's the Ghostly Apparition from the planet Xar!
And she won't be too amused since she has traveled far!
If you don't do what she wants you to
then she'll be pissed and punt you to the stars!
       (where?)...to the stars
(uh,what was that again?)...to the stars

She looks like Greta Garbo, pale and somber,
dropping you to both your knees.
Wails like an alien Aida,
tonal chaos that causes ears to bleed!
She took me off the road without a hope
to something that I've never seen
I never knew that phantom spacegirls
could ever be quite that obscene

Then with her stunnin' gun...she done me in!

She's the Ghostly Apparition from the planet Xar!
And she'll use you and abuse,so just forget your car!
If you don't do what she wants you to
then she'll be pissed and punt you to the stars!
       (I didn't get that)...to the stars!
       (pardon?)...to the stars!
(would you please repeat that?)...to the stars!

       (excuse me?)...to the stars!!!

This is another offering for Halloween, and another example of my twisted sense of humour!I've been a professional keyboardist/pianist/singer for over twenty years along with being a songwriter.I wrote this July 18,1991,for whatever reason.I had in mind an up-beat tempo and a typical blues configuration of chords (C F C G,the G applying to the lines,"There's no runnin',son...",and,"Then with her stunnin' gun..."),
and then a bit of a twist (for originality's sake ).Wish you could hear it.Question: Is it possible to include MP3s on this site?Probably not,but I thought I'd ask.Anyway,if you have any friends who eat, breathe and sleep the Blues, they probably could figure out how to play it.Ask them
to give it a shot!Oh...in addition,the questions:
what?;excuse me?,and so forth, are spoken. It's just a little funny inclusion I added to give it a bit more dementedness!

You made me smile. cool that you love music. I like singing, too, only probably not as good as you.
