Ya'll talk about the news
Ha! we'll let me tell ya, I talk about them ol' Blues
Mandolin tunes in high tunes of the moon
Smell the swamps, and think of voodoo doom
Now remember, old 'Orleans aint gonna change
Just the mud...the mud, it's a little thicker now

I used to sit on the porch harpin out the heart
Tokin', rollin to the sounds of Muddy Waters
Gettin' lost in the eyes of Jack Kerouak
Watchin' the catfish being the creatures of night
I'm a sweating the humidity of my soul
'cause it's alright

Let's just listen to the blow of the jazz
I'm a southern man, always been always has
Freely living off the soil and creed
Of bombardment, but it won't affect me
Just go, listen to it, and ride the tea

Glad you're okay and i enjoyed the poetry.  However we need to give the evacuees more than music.  Such a tragedy.  Joyce
