sometimes
all the world’s songs
do little to lift
a broken heart
and all the music of life
fails to dry
the dampness
of a sad walk

for the garden is wide
and the steps far too small
and though distances are huge
the displacement is nil
when all the walks end in circles
and the ends are where they began

all the foot prints
and all the lines
marked in golden sand
are forced into oblivion
by one powerful wind
like they never existed

sometimes
all the happiness
seems so unreal
like it never could exist

Very interesting Sudhir.  Yes sometimes all we can do is wait it out.  Joyce

Sudhir:  Nice poem if a bit sad.  Sometimes the wind that blows footprints away leaves you a new beginning.

Sudhir, I found this piece sad and touching. I agree with Joyce, sometimes all we can do is wait. Thanks for sharing.

So beautifully written, Sudhir....When i have passed through these times of sadness and loss, "this to shall pass", was a wise and comforting way to think it through..and pass it does! Ellie

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

Sudhir, this was so well written, but oh so sad. I hope that you aren't really this sad.
Thanks for sharing your poetry.
