Glimpse of Eden

I think that I have finally found
A place where nature can abound.
No creature fears to show it's face.
There is a stream where otters race
And slide down muddy banks with glee.
Where it is possible to see
Sweet nature spread her varied wares.
The graceful deer and burly bears,
All wander where there's elk and moose
And timber wolves are on the loose,
Along with coyotes, cougar too,
And China pheasants passing through,
Do add a note of colored flair
To all the other birds in air.
High over all, the eagles fly.
Their dark wings spread against the sky.
Here, everything's in harmony
And if you ask where this might be,
Then I will tell you that I find
This glimpse of Eden, in my mind!

What a peaceful and beautiful picture you present to us, as such a wonderful & desirable state--Eden past and hopefully at least in essence Paradise to come!

Thanks for the tranquility,

I love your Eden and I sat here this morning with my tea visiting with you and this beautiful spot.

Thank you for your vision on this gloomy, rainy New England morning.

Wonderful...hugs, Marti

Every now and then take a good look at something not made
with hands -- a mountain, a star, the power of the ocean.
There will come to you wisdom,

such beauty and grace flowing from your pen. thank you for this lovely picture.

the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost
