Los Gallos

In sevilla there is a little square
called the plaza of Don Juan
hidden in the maze of streets
known as barrio de Santa Cruz.
If you go there find the show
at Los Gallos: four beautiful men
and four beautiful women
dancing flamenco and singing
with multicolored dress and
black silk.  Drink sangria,
close your eyes, and listen
to the sharp stomp of boots
and the staccato clapping of
bearded men.  Watch the hands
of the senorita, the one who will not
meet your gaze, and the swagger
of the tall man with long hair,
color of the raven, who will.

It sounds as if you enjoyed a trip away from the everyday grind. Is this what the piece is about?

Annie:  I do like this!  You have created the atmosphere perfectly and it has a clever ending.

Hey,Annie,I really love the way you write.I can taste the sangrias at this very moment!

You know what you wrote me about the couple who won the $911? I forgot to mention that not only did I meet my friend Eddie on 9/11,but my best friend Johnny's mother's birthday is 9/11 and he also received the news that he was diabetic on that date.I don't know...a lot of that seems so simply
coincidental. My experience with the number 11
though has been for so many years and has taken so many forms that there must be meaning behind it all.

Still searching,still questioning,Geoffrey

dear Geoff, there is definitely something going on there with the number eleven in your life.  i would consider that a blessing.
take care, and thank you for the nice feedback!

Annika,
Sounds much more fun
than my life in Encino.
