We Can't Forget We gather to remember, Although we can't forget, The image of twin towers And each lethal, striking jet. We can't forget the people Who lost their lives that day. The families that have suffered Since their loved ones went away. The terror and the trauma, We have slowly put behind. We don't dwell upon it, But it's often on our mind. We are a stronger people And our nation weathered through. Many lives are greatly changed, But we all have the same view. Freedom is our heritage.
