wish you could
see the person
so deep down

listen close
can you hear
her voice singing
trying to get out

scared to let go
all i can do
is try and find her
she keeps doging away

everynight in dreams
i hear her laugh
hear her cry
on those wistful nights

everyday i see
the one i know
she wants to burst free
but i'm scared to let her out

i am afraid
of what they will say
when they see her cry
and when they see her smile

being laughed at hurts
don't want that to happen
she is to tender
already broken once before

her heart is recovering
from a tragic love
her frail soul
couldn't take it

but still she persists
in letting me go
through my body she sounds
letting her out

through her own way
she tells me she is ready
and i know
i can finally let go
