A rainbow is the color of my love,
a starry night the view.
A spring rain the feel of it,
the scent of my love is you.

The voice of my love is touch,
the taste is that of candy.
A diamond is the strength of it,
the warmth is that of brandy.

The sun is the truth of my love,
and the gentle weight is dew,
a rainbow is the color and,
the scent, my love is you.

This is so poetically pretty...in its imagery, its expression, its phrasing and personification and its cadence. Twas a treat to read aloud.
I was scrolling "todays topics" and saw your name...is good to read you again and have you visit.
well done poetess.
take care

Tell me we belong together
Dress it up with the trappings of love
Ill be captivated, Ill hang from your lips
Instead of the heartache from above
