A bit of nostalgia from my early years. I wonder if any other guys ever went through this emotional roller coaster. ____________________________________________________ Is it possible that you love me Could you really want me too I dont mean to be a problem but if I am ignore my cue You smile at me that certain way whenever we should meet should I read between the lines or accept a cold defeat This isn’t easy, it’s so very hard to reveal my love this way my stomach’s slowly turning loops I dont know what else to say I need a sign, a tiny hint before I lose my cool please let me down quite gently I dont need to act the fool You think you might, I mean, you do my heart is all a flutter you take my hand, and gently squeeze all I can do is mutter Those simple words, the special three that lovers always say I love you, I’m so very glad that you are mine today the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost |
